Through these words Baglio Oro presents this new white wine which comes from two white grape varieties that most identify Sicily: Catarratto, typical of western Sicily, and Pinot Grigio, from which wines of great aromatic elegance are born.
Costallegra is a new line of wines that the Baglio Oro winery has chosen to create by combining memory and family experience with modern oenology, always seeking new tastes and new aromas.

Costallegra organic white wine Catarratto and Pinot Grigio, very balanced and light wine
From this blend, a white wine that emerges fully and reflects the entire set of olfactory, gustatory and visual characteristics of these two white grape varieties. The result is a wine with strong fruity and tropical notes.
The grapes from which this wine is born are processed through processes that respect tradition, they are therefore harvested in the coolest hours of the day, they are processed in the cellar with a soft pressing, and everything is then fermented at a controlled temperature for approximately 12 days.
Finally, the refinement takes place first for a few months in stainless steel tanks and then in the bottle for approximately 3 months before marketing.
At sight this white wine presents a yellow colour with greenish reflections, a very bright and bright color.
On the nose there are marked hints of tropical fruit and floral aromas of jasmine.
And the taste is balanced and light, with strong marine notes that enhance the sensations of hints of white pulp fruit.
It is a light white wine, therefore excellent for combining delicate, not too heavy flavours, such as aperitifs, starters, grilled fish or white meats.

Harvest: Early July for Pinot Grigio, mid-September for Catarratto
Vinification:: Soft pressing and static clarification of the must at 12° C for 24 hours. Fermentation takes place at 16°C.
Aging: For a few months in stainless steel tanks. And for 3 months in the bottle before marketing.
Color: Greenish yellow, bright and bright.
Smell: Marked hints of tropical fruit and floral aromas of jasmine are perceived on the nose.
Taste: Balanced and light. Characterized by strong marine notes, which enhance the sensations of white fruit.
Alcohol content: 13% by vol
