Tax includedTenuta Benedetta, the company of Daniele Noli, a Tuscan pharmacist with a passion for wine and a degree in Viticulture and Oenology and his wife Laura. Driven by the love for Sicily and its extraordinary products, they buy three vineyards on Etna and in 2013 create the winery that bears the name of their daughter, Benedetta, a very young student, who shares with her parents the enthusiasm for this world.
The main objective of the company is the production of natural wines that respect as much as possible the identity of this exceptional volcanic territory, seeking the highest quality, starting from the care of the vineyards and paying great attention to every detail, from harvest to vinification. to maturation in wood, following the principles of organic farming and making use exclusively of the use of manual labor.
The family imprint is always accentuated: the names of the vineyards, Vigna Benedetta, Vigna Laura and Vigna Mariagrazia, dedicated respectively to the daughter, wife and mother, are also those of the wines they come from, presented with customized labels and packaging, taken care of. and designed entirely by them.
The Rosso Unico di Benedetta is made with the grapes of Vigna Benedetta, in the Feudo di Mezzo district in Passopisciaro, there are sapling Sangiovese vines of about 10 years of age from which an original red is obtained, with lively acidity and a unique personality.
"An absolute curiosity, a Sangiovese on Etna. The personality of the great Tuscan grape that interprets this magical territory right from the impenetrable ruby red color. A clear fruity note immediately makes its way to the aromas, ripe red fruit such as black cherry, blackberry, followed by cinchona, licorice, violet and graphite. When tasted, it shows that it has reached an optimal balance, supported by alcohol, velvety softness on the one hand, and noble tannins on the other. Mouth voluminous and slender at the same time thanks to the precious presence of acidity. Very persistent closure. " (Daniela Scrobogna F.I.S)
