Firriato - Branciforti dei Bordonaro Grillo 2020 Doc Sicilia
Immersed in the Trapani countryside, in the most planted area of Italy, between Mount Erice and the Egadi islands, on soft hills at an altitude between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, the luxuriant rows of Tenuta Gelso Grande stretch out , the heart of the “Feudi Branciforti dei Bordonaro” production.
This is a territory whose history has always been based on agriculture, which develops sublime in quality enology. Gelso Grande preserves the ability to accommodate different vines, always respecting the most authentic specificities, where each variety finds its maximum expression in a natural way.
From the south facing vineyards on the estate of Gelso Grande, between Mount Erice and the Egadi born Nero d’Avola Branciforti of Bordonaro. Perfect archetype of sicilianità mature slowly in full sun to reveal band of intense ruby red color with purple reflections.
