Method of preparation

After washing the broad beans, soak them in cold water for 4/6 hours. Then replace the water and put them on the fire, then bring to the boil and continue cooking over low heat for about 90 minutes (even just 30 minutes is sufficient in a pressure cooker). Salt towards the end of cooking.

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
