Zahri Rosé Wine - Terre Siciliane IGT Baglio Oro

Zahri Rosato, a fresh and elegant rosé

Zahri rosé is a rosé wine that the Baglio Oro winery produces in the wonderful landscape of the Marsala salt pans.

It is a very elegant wine, which comes from Frappato grapes harvested manually in small boxes. These grapes then cold macerate on the skins, and after which they first undergo a soft and progressive pressing and then an alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature.

The refinement of this wine lasts 5 months, the first 3 spent in steel tanks on the noble lees, then the last 2 in the bottle, before being marketed.

At the end of this process, a very bright and very fresh rosé wine emerges, with some mineral notes given to it by the soil on which it grows.

To the eye it appears with a very bright pale pink color.

On the nose it releases aromas of fruity notes such as wild strawberries and plums.

And on the palate it is very fresh, tasty, with good persistence and pleasantness.

Vinification: The harvest takes place manually in small boxes. After destemming, the grapes cold macerate on the skins, before carrying out a soft and progressive pressing. A slow thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation follows.

Aging: The wine ages on the noble lees for 3 months in steel tanks and at least 2 months in the bottle before being marketed

Color: Pale pink

Smell: Intense with fruity notes of wild strawberries and plums

Taste: Fresh and tasty, with good persistence and pleasantness
