Mature cheese with black peppercorns

Typical cheese, seasoned with whole grains of black pepper, delicious and tasty table cheese, ideal to use for appetizers, to flavor first or second courses, or to include in the cheese plate.

It is one of the oldest dairy preparations produced on the island. Produced with pasteurized sheep's milk, this cheese is matured for 3-4 months, during which it loses its initial sweetness and acquires a flavor and character that make it unique.

The cylindrical shapes traditionally left to mature on wooden shelves can weigh from 3 to 12 kg. On Gocce di Sicilia it is possible to purchase vacuum-packed pecorino slices from 200 to 500 g.

Our cheese is handcrafted in the Randazzo area, with ancient methods and milk from farms in eastern Sicily.
