Artisan fresh Casale provola - Typical Sicilian stretched curd cheese

The famous Provola made according to the ancient tradition of Maniace.

Ingredients: Milk, salt, rennet, lactic ferments.

Provola is sold in half wheel, we select from time to time the provola with the right seasoning and with a weight of around 1- 1,4kg or even more.

Here you can buy the true provola type Casale, normally we always take whole provola divided in half with a weight slightly higher than 500g, but being handmade cheeses the weight can vary.

If you want to buy more seasoned Sicilian Provola, we can offer you the sfoglia Provola, which is available only in a few periods of the year.
