Passivento Riserva Sicilia DOC 2018 - Barone Montalto

The Reserve of the famous Passivento, a dark and intense Sicilian red wine produced with the Passivento method

The Passivento method is the method that involves the partial drying of the grapes directly in the vineyard, which is then completed in the fruit room, where the skilful control of ventilation helps the grapes to reach the ideal level of dehydration before pressing.

The wine then ages for a period in steel and for another 12 months in wooden barriques.

This Sicilian Riserva red wine comes from a blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, resulting in a fruity and intense red wine, which excellently accompanies important dishes with strong flavours, such as game, stews and mature cheeses.
