Antica Cioccolateria Rizza wanted to create a product that pays homage to one of Sicily's most beloved fruits, incorporating the unique flavor of prickly pears into the traditional recipe of Modica IGP Chocolate.

The result is a chocolate bar that combines the intense and deep flavor of cocoa with the sweet and fruity notes of prickly pears.

Modica Chocolate with Prickly Pears is not only a delight for the palate, but is also a product rich in nutritional benefits. Thanks to the use of natural ingredients and cold processing, this chocolate bar retains all the beneficial properties of cocoa and prickly pears.

What brings the Aztecs who lived in Central and South America closer to Sicily? Certainly Modica chocolate, now famous throughout the world but which owes much of its goodness to an ancient processing of the cocoa mass with sugar mixed at low temperatures so as not to melt completely, as in the chocolate we are used to consuming every day. A chocolate so unique that it also obtains the I.G.P. recognition!

Its particular grainy consistency makes it a unique chocolate, with an ancient flavour, in which you can perceive the pungent flavour of cocoa, combined with grains of sugar.

Product appreciated by true chocolate connoisseurs for the authentic and inebriating scent of cocoa, the basic recipe is enriched by adding top quality products: pistachio, citrus peel, fruit and spices.
