EXTRA JAM OF APPLES FROM ETNA
Extra Jam of Apple of Etna produced in Castelbuono, by the well-known Sicilian company Fiasconaro, with selected and carefully processed products to guarantee the natural goodness of the fruits of the Sicilian land.
This fruit in particular is a noble defender of the traditions of this land, as the cultivation and harvesting processes still take place according to the customs and methods of our ancestors.
Located in the range between 700 and 1500 meters, in fact, these fields do not allow the use of agricultural machinery due to the steep terrain, so everything is done manually, from the harvest, which takes place between the end of September and the beginning of November. , to the transport, which is really suggestive: it, in fact, is still carried out on the shoulder with the so-called panara, or baskets where the Etna apples are harvested. Subsequently, they are placed in warehouses called fruit houses, where farmers stack them waiting for the maturation phase to end.
INGREDIENTS: apples (pulp and juice), sugar, lemon juice. Fruit used 100 grams per 100 grams. It may contain traces of nuts, milk and soy.
