This dough comes from an idea of Francesco Manuele, historic master pastry chef and owner of the Nuova Dolceria in Ferla.
This Colomba, handmade with traditional methods is one of their latest creations, a Colomba that contains all the Sicilian spring flavors!
The dough of these Colomba is characterized by its wonderful flavor, given by the natural yeast and the mastery of the master pastry chefs!
To fill this dough with flavor we can find Candied Peach and Apricot, and a delicious glaze made with white chocolate and almonds!
INGREDIENTS: colomba base (soft wheat flour type 00, butter, egg yolk, sugar, yeast (soft wheat flour type 00, water), honey, milk, wheat germ, cream, salt, flavouring (with soy), corn starch, vanilla, seasoning (candied peaches (peaches, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar), candied apricots (apricots, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar). Covering (white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, anhydrous milk fat, emulsifier: soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring), sugar, non-hydrogenated vegetable fats and oils (palm kernel oil, coconut oil, butter, salt, palm oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil), Sicilian almonds, skimmed milk powder, whey powder, emulsifier: soy lecithin, flavourings, salt.
Contains gluten, almonds, egg, milk, soy.
