This Colomba is characterized by a white chocolate coating enriched with some slices of candied lemon.
The peculiarity of this Sicilian Artisan Colomba is the use of Limoncello in the dough and Annurca PGI Apple, a very particular and sweet type of apple.

The dough for this Easter Colomba is very soft, worked by hand and left to rise slowly.
Ingredients: Type 00 soft wheat flour, sugar, skimmed milk powder, natural mother yeast (wheat), salt, ascorbic acid, semi-candied melannurca, butter, liquid butter, category A free-range egg yolk, sugar, Sicilian wildflower honey, orange paste, fresh cream, salt, Madagascar vanilla pods.
External icing: white chocolate (sugar, vegetable fats (palm, coconut), skimmed milk powder, emulsifier: soy lecithin, flavourings), lemon peel
Filling: Limoncello cream (lemon essential oil, natural flavourings, alcohol, water, sugar, thickener: starch).
