In 1973 the current Don Alfonso 1980 restaurant was born. The name carries with it the family history. The restaurant, in fact, is dedicated to the great-grandfather, Alfonso Iaccarino, who in 1980 started the restaurant business. Since then the location has never changed. In 2020 Don Alfonso 1980 was elected Best Restaurant in Italy and third in the world ex aequo for the IOOO List.
