Caper and Oregano Pâté - Traditional cold dressing

This pâté comes from an old peasant recipe from Pantelleria.

A simple, brilliant recipe that combines capers and extra virgin olive oil into a cream, with the addition of Pantelleria oregano, the original oregano of the island with its unique, inimitable aroma.

The caper pâté sold on Gocce di Sicilia contains no preservatives, no additives and no flavourings of any kind.

Ingredients: capers, extra virgin olive oil and Pantelleria oregano, simply blended together and lightly pasteurised.

How to use:

Excellent on bruschetta and to dress grilled red meat.

The pâté needs no cooking and can also be used as a cold dressing for pasta and first courses.

Once opened, keep refrigerated, covered with a drizzle of oil.
