SLICE OF ALMOND PASTA

The almond paste loaf has been a typical Sicilian product for generations, this one that we offer on Gocce di Sicilia is handcrafted in Capo d'Orlando, in a small artisan laboratory.

On sale on Gocce di Sicilia in addition to the almond block you will also find the 150 grams almond block from Dolceria Rizza di Modica.

Comfortable and genuine almond paste dough which, when diluted, turns into fresh and thirst-quenching almond milk. The quantity of almond paste in the 200 g block is optimal for obtaining a liter and a quarter of almond milk.

Making almond milk is very easy: you have to dilute the dough with half a liter of hot water to make it melt well and then add half a liter of cold milk (or, if you prefer a lighter taste, another half a liter of cold water instead of milk), mix well and let it cool a little in the refrigerator. Here now the almond milk is ready to refresh your summer days!

The diluted dough can also be used to make the original Sicilian almond granita.

The package contains 200 grams of almond paste.
