In 1853 Francesco Ciavolich in Miglianico built, in front of the residence building, the first winery, now one of the oldest and most evocative in Abruzzo, where he can make his own grapes from the surrounding land. At the end of the 1800s an important marriage marked the future turning point of the farm on the Loreto Aprutino side: that between Giuseppe Ciavolich and the noblewoman Ernestina Vicini of Loreto Aprutino.

In the 1960s, from the hereditary division of Donna Ernestina, the family received the agricultural estate of Loreto Aprutino (Pe) consisting of about 50 hectares. Here, Giuseppe Ciavolich, grandson of the founder, planted the vineyards of Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Cococciola, which Chiara continues to cultivate today, to pass on an ancient history through wine, the red thread connecting past, present and future.
