Spicy Local Salami
The Sicilian Spicy Salami is already striking from its appearance, a rustic and fascinating appearance, with the internal part of the salami of an intense red color visible, given by the combination of pork with spicy chilli pepper, and with the addition of small pieces of fat distributed evenly.
When cut, it inebriates with its inviting and enveloping aromas, which are immediately felt with the characteristic aroma of chilli pepper mixed with the hint of salami.
The taste is the most important part of this spicy Sicilian salami, with the spicy chilli pepper gradually spreading in the mouth, but which does not overpower the flavor of the pork, a type of succulent meat with a soft and compact consistency.
This spicy salami can be served as part of an appetizer of Sicilian cured meats and cheeses, perhaps combining it with local cheese, crusty bread and perhaps a glass of Sicilian red wine which further enhances the flavours.
