This Malvasia is a white with great character that smells a lot of iodine, saltiness and rock herbs, the flavor is very intense and dashed with salt.
It is produced by Luca Caruso and Natascia Santandrea, two entrepreneurs, owners of the Hotel Signum in Salina, a wonderful hotel which also houses a starred restaurant.

The name of this white wine, "M", comes from the initial of Malfa, a small town on the island of Salina.
The wine is composed mostly of Malvasia delle Lipari and to a lesser extent of Cataratto and Inzolia.
