Clay Lands - Nero d'Avola wine from the Marabino wineries in Val di Noto
It is a Nero d'Avola red wine produced by Cantina Marabino, a winery with a passion for natural products located in the Val di Noto in the "Buonivini" and "Barone" districts of the renowned 'Eloro & Noto' area . Marabino has the ambition of bringing into its bottles the flavour, aroma, authenticity and authenticity of the products of the Sicilian land and, we can say that Marabino thanks to its choice to operate in quality and respect for nature ( The Marabino winery is a certified organic company) and it fully succeeds!
A particular Nero d'Avola, one of a kind, we challenge you to find others of the same level in circulation. An important wine, but at a fair price, to be tasted with the certainty that you are drinking something good and natural. Marabino cultivates its own vineyards and produces its own wines following the dictates of Biodynamic Agriculture, without herbicides and without chemical and/or synthetic treatments and/or fertilizations.
The style and taste of this wine are determined by the importance of the soils in which it grows, in fact, as the name suggests, this Nero d'Avola grows on the clayey soils of the Contrada Bonvini.
A further peculiarity of this wine is its label, a graphic representation where the name and logo of the wine are concentrated in the lower part, inspired by the artistic technique used by Caravaggio in the painting of the Burial of Saint Lucia, which is located in a church in Syracuse. The white also stands out on the label, which recalls the importance of light in the Val di Noto area, characterized by a particular clarity and a particular brightness, thanks to the meeting between the Ionian Sea and the Sicilian Channel.
TIPS AND COMBINATIONS
The best pairings we can recommend are fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and Nebrodi pork fillet.
Excellent as an accompaniment to meat dishes, steaks and Florentine steaks (the velvety tannin balances wonderfully with the juiciness of the grilled meat).
