ANGHELI 2018 SICILY RED DOC - DONNAFUGATA

CONTAINS SULFITES

From the Versatile collection of character, a soft red with an international taste is born, obtained from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes ... the Angheli!

With an intense ruby red color, it shows a fragrant bouquet of red fruit (plum and black cherry) combined with elegant spicy hints (cinnamon and nutmeg) and delicate hints of tobacco. In the mouth it is enveloping with soft tannins and excellent persistence. A red with an international flavor with a great balance between structure and pleasantness.

Excellent to combine with cold cuts, meatballs with sauce, grilled meats, duck and roast chicken, and ribs. Served in large, pot-bellied glasses, it can be uncorked on the spot, otherwise a couple of hours earlier. Excellent at 16-18 ° C. For those who love sharing the pleasures of the table by combining a single wine with different dishes. Being together and intriguing all friends, from the curious to the passionate.

Could it be Angelica dell’Orlando Furioso who runs away on the horse portrayed on the label? There are many Donnafugata "women on the run", each of them has a past of history and tradition, but she certainly has a future of softness and seduction.
