The Pescabivona IGP or Pesca di Bivona IGP, also called Montagnola, is a fishing cultivar that is born in Sicily. It takes its name from Bivona, in the Agrigento inland and in other neighboring municipalities of the Monti Sicani area, in the Magazzolo river valley, an area where it is produced. Territories between hills and mountains with an excellent microclimate to develop luxuriant peach trees from which a fruit so exceptional as to obtain IGP, Protected Geographical Indication.
From the velvety and perfumed peel, the dense and juicy white pulp, with a sweet and intense flavor, with a fantastic balance of sugars and acids.
Excellent to enjoy for breakfast or as a snack on a slice of bread or on a nice toast.
