In the picturesque Valpolicella, in the heart of the Veneto region, one of the finest sweet wines in the world is produced: the Recioto DOCG 2011 wine. This wine enchants the palates of enthusiasts from all over the world with its enveloping sweetness and the complexity of its aromas.
The Recioto DOCG is produced by the Quintarelli winery, a reference name in the Valpolicella. Established in the 1920s, this family winery has gained international acclaim through its dedication to quality and craftsmanship.

In this wine there is the story of King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon and of the Real Casina di Caccia di Ficuzza. Here, in the 1800s, the sovereign kept his own wine, produced with grapes from the vineyards located around the Ficuzza estate.
Davide and Antonio, the brothers who manage this winery, wanted to imagine what the wine drunk could be like in the times of the King, thus giving birth to Salealto, a "vin de terroir", obtained from Insolia, Grillo and Zibibbo grapes in equal parts, before vinified separately and then aged together.
The Valpolicella region, located in the suggestive hilly landscape of the Veneto region, is famous for the production of fine wines, and one of its jewels is the 2021 dry white wine of the Quintarelli Winery.
