Grappa Quater - Firriato
Quater is a modern grappa with a soft aromatic bouquet. A highly developed distillate aimed at a discerning international audience, no longer used to the traditional grappa. It is a acquavite that is refined and attentively treated in every aspect of its production.
Intense ruby red with brilliant purple reflections; it offers intense fruity aromas, black cherry and plum notes stand out; the bouquet opens with delicate flowery nuances and characteristic spicy notes of black pepper. This Sicilian wine is a modern interpretation of an ancient native grape variety: Frappato.
Its grapes grow in the Firriato winery, on the Baglio Soria estate, and are predominantly dark and purple grapes, which give the wine a fruity hint of peel and seeds.
It is in fact a wine that expresses itself through a fruity bouquet, with some hints of spices, black pepper, liquorice and cloves.
On the palate it is broad, complex and enveloping with notes of blood orange.
