Rosso del Conte is undoubtedly one of the historic wines of the great Tasca d'Almerita winery.
It was born on the Regaleali estate and is made from Nero d'Avola grapes accompanied by a percentage of Perricone.
It is an exuberant, vibrant and very energetic wine, especially when it is young, after which with refinement it becomes very velvety and with a good taste progression.
It has boasted many and varied awards over the years, since its birth in 1959, from Gold Medals at the World Competition in Brussels to Three Glasses from Gambero Rosso, to various Crowns of Vinibuoni d'Italia. This vintage in particular boasts very high ratings from James Suckling, Dottor Wine, I vini di Veronelli and The Winehunter.

This is a Sicilian red wine that comes from a blend of grapes grown in the Regaleali estate, the historic Tasca d'Almerita estate.
It comes from a blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, two diametrically opposed vines, one typically Sicilian and very powerful, and the other international and elegant.
It is a full-bodied wine, with good aroma and good tannins.

These Nero d'Avola grapes stand out from all the others for their aromas, which can be felt immediately in the glass, and for their maturation, which is never too excessive.
It is a full-bodied wine, with good aromatic intensity given to it by the type of processing, i.e. by the passage in different oak barriques of various years.
