Rosso di Laura Red wine 2016 - Etna Rosso Doc - Tenuta Benedetta
From the Etna territories.
From Pecorino grapes, a very popular blend in Marche and Abruzzo, a fresh and savory wine, with an intense yellow color, which emanates delicate floral scents of jasmine, citrus and ginger.
The hand-picked grapes from the Pianella and / or Loreto Aprutino vineyards are placed in small boxes and transported to the cellar, to be crushed and pressed thanks to a small crusher-destemmer and an ancient press. The must obtained is transferred partly in terracotta amphorae and partly in French oak tonneaux.
Vintage: 2018
Etna Rosso Doc produced in Passopisciaro in the district from which it takes its name, which sees 20 hectares of vineyards on five different types of volcanic soils.
From grapes of Nerello Mascalese in purity, on the nose hints of small red fruits and balsamic Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is balanced and full-bodied, with a dense tannic texture and a long citrus finish. To be paired with fresh and aged cheeses or with second courses from the earth.
Directly from Abruzzo, a white wine with a fresh and mineral sip, but with a very sapid character.
Made from Pecorino grapes, a very common blend in Marche and Abruzzo, this white wine will surprise you thanks to its great bouquet full of aromatic notes of thyme, mint and rosemary with hints of fruit.
