Pruvenza 2017 is a wine with enormous potential. Frappato, a native grape variety that has always been produced in the Vittoria area, has the project of clearing the chiché which imagines it to be a wine to be drunk within the year.
On the nose, hints of red fruits and excellent drinkability, but also greater complexity and thickness than is usually found in the type.
To be paired with red meat dishes, cured meats and medium and long-aged cheeses. Try it on a tuna steak.

This Sicilian wine is a modern interpretation of an ancient native grape variety: Frappato.
Its grapes grow in the Firriato winery, on the Baglio Soria estate, and are predominantly dark and purple grapes, which give the wine a fruity hint of peel and seeds.
It is in fact a wine that expresses itself through a fruity bouquet, with some hints of spices, black pepper, liquorice and cloves.
On the palate it is broad, complex and enveloping with notes of blood orange.
