The Gassosa Cucinotta is one of the most historic Sicilian drinks, born in Capo d'Orlando by the Cucinotta family in 1972, and since then it has been commonly consumed either within meals, perhaps accompanying a bottle of red wine, or even during the day as thirst quenching drink.
It comes from the beautiful lemons that ripen under the Sicilian sun, which combined with the super refreshing bubbles make this Sicilian drink truly exceptional.

The 2012 Riserva, the last vintage signed by Franco Biondi-Santi, was produced with the Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 (Brunello Biondi Santi 11) clone, identified and selected by Biondi-Santi at Tenuta Greppo in the seventies. For this Reserve, grapes originating exclusively from the oldest vines with over 25 years of age were used.
The result is a surprising wine for its freshness and aromatic complexity, personality, stylistic consistency and taste finesse.
