The Tasca d'Almerita winery was founded way back in 1830, has passed through generations and generations, but has nevertheless remained firm in its values and traditions, while at the same time embracing both innovation and sustainability.

This winery benefits from a unique terroir and climatic conditions that only the Sicilian soils can offer, their vineyards, scattered throughout Sicily, are varied, and are:

- Tenuta Regaleali: the most historic estate in Tasca, the place where it was born. Located in the center of Sicily, this estate boasts almost 600 hectares, 12 types of soil and 6 hills. Here, it is where some of the most historic wines of this winery are born, the Riserva del Conte, the two types of Vigna San Francesco, the Rosso del Conte, as well as wonderful bubbles and delicious whites.

- Tenuta Capofaro: this estate is located within the wonderful Aeolian Islands. Malvasia delle Lipari is born here, within volcanic soils that take advantage of the climate given by the proximity of the mountain to the sea, which helps to preserve the fruit and maintain acidity.

- Tenuta Tascante: the estate located on Etna, whose name in fact comes from the combination "Tasca" and "Etna". Nerello Mascalese, Chardonnay and Carricante are born on the majestic Etna volcano, which take advantage of the unique terroir, sometimes dry and sometimes humid, that only a volcanic soil like the one where they are found can offer.

-Tenuta Sallier de la Tour: born in Monreale, near Palermo, in 2007, the year in which Prince Filiberto Sallier de La Tour asked his cousins Tasca d'Almerita to take care of his estate. Grillo, Inzolia and Nero d'Avola are born here, giving life to historic wines such as Madamarosè or La Monaca.

- Tenuta Whitaker: this estate is located in the territory of Mozia, a small island located in front of the Marsala salt pans. A territory with a unique microclimate, with a lagoon that generates a thermal inversion in the warmer months, preserving the aroma of the plants. Here Grillo is born, which gives life to Mozia Grillo.

But the Tasca d'Almerita winery is not only dedicated to the production of very high quality wines, but is also a highly prestigious wine tourism destination, with many visitors who visit the cellars every year and taste good wines in a welcoming and authentic environment, characteristic which reflect both the wonderful Sicilian territory and the great passion of the Tasca d'Almerita family.
