Biondi Santi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2012 DOCG red wine - Tenuta Il Greppo

The 2012 Riserva, the last vintage signed by Franco Biondi-Santi, was produced with the Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 (Brunello Biondi Santi 11) clone, identified and selected by Biondi-Santi at Tenuta Greppo in the seventies. For this Reserve, grapes originating exclusively from the oldest vines with over 25 years of age were used.

The result is a surprising wine for its freshness and aromatic complexity, personality, stylistic consistency and taste finesse.

It has an intense ruby red color, and an enveloping, ample and elegant perfume; you can perceive berries, red roses, violets, pepper and sweet spices.
