Catarratto, an autochthonous single variety with marked scents of citrus, Prio 2019 is an intense and fragrant white that brings joy at first sip.
A brilliant straw yellow color, on the nose offers a fragrant bouquet with markedof grapefruit citrus scents and citron combined with notes of Mediterranean scrub. The palate is fresh and perfectly reflects the nose.

With an intense ruby red color, it shows a fragrant bouquet of red fruit (plum and black cherry) combined with elegant spicy hints (cinnamon and nutmeg) and delicate hints of tobacco. The Passivento method is the method that involves the partial drying of the grapes directly in the vineyard, which is then completed in the fruit room, where the skilful control of ventilation helps the grapes to reach the ideal level of dehydration before pressing.
The wine then ages for a period in steel and for another 12 months in wooden barriques.
This Sicilian Riserva red wine comes from a blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, resulting in a fruity and intense red wine, which excellently accompanies important dishes with strong flavours, such as game, stews and mature cheeses.
