Handmade hot air balloon in Sicilian ceramic from Caltagirone: a unique design object

The production of the famous Caltagirone Ceramics is an artisanal process that requires great skill, in fact the local artisans of the city of Caltagirone work the ceramics by hand with methods that are passed down from generation to generation.

This ceramic hot air balloon is available in three variants:

- Red and Yellow: the most classic variant and which best represents the bright colors of Sicily, full of sunsets and beautiful landscapes;

- Black and Green: the most elegant and refined variant, with black symbolizing mystery and magic and green symbolizing hope and rebirth;

- Green and Yellow: the variant with colors that recall Sicilian nature, with green that recalls the lush forests and yellow that recalls the golden beaches.

The Hot Air Balloon is a design and furnishing object suitable to be placed in any room of the house, thanks to its simple shape which makes it a decorative element that is both versatile and refined.

You can use it as a centrepiece, as an ornament, or as a gift idea to give a unique and original art object.

N.B. The objects made in Caltagirone ceramics are made entirely by hand, therefore shapes and colors may undergo slight variations compared to the object shown in the photo. Each object is decorated by hand and therefore unique. You will never find two identical sculptures, and also the small imperfections are a certificate of craftsmanship of these wonderful artistic masterpieces
