They were born in Caltagirone, in the province of Catania, a town famous throughout the world for the production of these marvelous artistic ceramics, which represent the greatest expression of local culture and tradition.

The ceramics of Caltagirone are characterized by traditional designs, such as the famous "Teste di Moro", using techniques such as working on the wheel, freehand decoration, enamel painting and kiln firing.

You can choose between two types of Moor's Heads, either the Moor King or the Queen, both are adorned with a turban on which orange details are drawn with some slight yellow nuances and a green closure.

Both ceramic pieces also feature the famous frieze above the head, a sign that distinguishes the great elegance and great history of these ceramic heads.

On the neck the Queen has a red necklace, while the Moorish King is characterized by the classic black color and orange details on the face.
