The Baglio del Cristo di Campobello farm, located in the Campobello di Licata hill, between 230 and 270 meters above sea level and 8,000 meters from the coast, is characterized by its chalky soil and the respect for a precious territory that the family Bonetta has always valued with the production of its wines.
An excellent land where Nero d'Avola and Grillo have found their perfect habitat and full expression, thanks also to the continuous attention and company research that today has led Baglio del Cristo di Campobello to this new production. Sparkling babies with their freshness and elegance are an expression of the Bonetta philosophy: to create balanced wines, highly drinkable and persistent, which are a faithful expression of the Mediterranean territory.
The Cristo di Campobello Classic Method Rosato Nero d'Avola Extra Brut 36 months on the lees shows its originality starting from the color, a pale pink reminiscent of onion skin. It is an elegant Classic Method, with a balanced taste, which stands out for its intense freshness. The nose is delicate, with aromas of citrus, small fruits and floral notes reminiscent of orange blossom. The perlage is fine, persistent and widespread, creamy on the palate. The sip, characterized by rhythm and a nice acidity, is characterized by floral returns of violets and rose hips. Due to these characteristics it is excellent as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to raw seafood and, in general, with fish-based dishes.
