Manene is the first wine of the Calì winery, a Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG that combines the aromatic shoulder of Frappato with the robust one of Nero d'Avola. A red wine with a complex and long taste that recalls the well-defined personality of the Vittoria vineyards in the Ragusa area.
Intense and elegant red wine to combine with both red and roasted white meats, but also with tuna or important fish cooked in the oven.

Manene is the first wine of the cellar, inspired by the name of Paolo's son and the sound that the name of Emanuele took on the first few times that the child pronounced it, and it is just as sweet and suave.
A wine that looks to the future, the son of audacity and skill, and that tells emotions, feelings and memories. Intense cherry red color. Wine with a unique taste, with an excellent tannic texture, elegant, fine and persistent. His is a fruity scent with notes of cherry, pomegranate, berries.
The Cerasuolo di Vittoria has ancient roots, so much so that Pliny the Elder in the 4th century BC. he wrote about it. Today it is the most important wine of the Sicilian wine scene: since 2005 it is the only DOCG of the island.
The DOCG extends into 3 provinces (Ragusa, Catania and Caltanissetta), but the classic denomination is attributable only to the wines of the ancient production area, namely Vittoria, headquarters of the winery, and the neighboring towns.
Cerasuolo di Vittoria is the result of the magical and harmonious encounter between Nero d'Avola, its robust shoulder, and Frappato, its aromatic shoulder.
Manene is the most classic declination of Cerasuolo di Vittoria, with 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato; it follows an aging in steel for about 18/24 months.
