Nero d'Avola 2019 Sicilia Doc Abbazia Santa Anastasia - organic wine from Sicily

Certified organic wine, ruby ​​red in color with light purple hues, obtained from Nero d'Avola vines, from the historic Abbey of Santa Anastasia, in the heart of the Madonie.

A well structured red wine, elegant, gently tannic and persistent in taste, with immediate hints of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and mulberry, with a floral finish of violet, lavender and a fresh aroma of blood orange.

On the palate it is generous with hints of red fruit but also spices, vanilla, anise, cinnamon.

Perfect to accompany the classic platters of cheeses and cured meats to all types of meat. Also excellent with seasonal vegetables, legume soups, risottos. Thanks to its fresh elegance it can be combined with blue fish and purely Sicilian fish dishes (sardines a beccafico, swordfish alla ghiotta, pasta with sardines).

Production technique: Traditional red vinification in steel self-fermenters at a controlled temperature of 20/24 ° C for 12/15 days.

Aging: For 9 months in steel tanks, light passage in 100 hl oak barrels. for about 4 months. For 6 months in the bottle.
