Pietradolce Vigna Barbagalli Rosso is a Sicilian wine with a distinctive character, produced by the Pietradolce winery located on Etna. This wine is one of the flagship products of the company, made with Nerello Mascalese grapes from vineyards located at high altitudes.

Vigna Barbagalli is one of the most important wine estates on Etna, located about 700 meters above sea level. This elevated position, combined with the wide temperature range between day and night, gives the grapes a unique character which is reflected in the intense flavor and persistent aroma of the wine.

Pietradolce Vigna Barbagalli Rosso has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, notes of wild berries, cherries, plums and a slight hint of spice can be detected. On the palate, the wine is structured and full-bodied, with balanced tannins and good persistence.

The wine was produced using only high quality grapes grown in vineyards well exposed to the sun and the cool breeze of the surrounding mountains. The winemaking process was carried out using only traditional techniques, with a long period of maceration in contact with the skins to ensure greater extraction of polyphenols.

Pietradolce Vigna Barbagalli Rosso goes perfectly with red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.

It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 18-20°C to fully appreciate its flavor and aroma.
