The Sicilian almond is an excellent supplement, it can be found in almost all diets being rich in nutrients and providing our body with many beneficial substances such as Vitamin E, B2, Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron, Potassium, Fibers , Omega 3 and Omega 6.

Perfect to nibble like this, already shelled, they are suitable both for breakfast and as a snack, but also in an excellent salad, or to dress even a perfect side dish!

It is also used very often in Sicilian pastry, from the very famous almond paste, to granitas, almond milk, Sicilian nougat, marzipan fruit, biscuits and the finest sugared almonds.

It can also be found as the protagonist of Trapani pesto and Sicilian pesto.

A recommended amount is 20 to 25 grams per day.
